DETECTIVES are investigating claims that a bomb has been left at a housing estate in Derry.
Officers are investigating the claims, said a PSNI spokesman
“Police have been made aware of claims that an explosive device has been left in the Curryneerin area on the outskirts of Derry,” said Chief Inspector Tony Callaghan.
“Enquiries are underway and, in the meantime, police are advising local residents to be vigilant and to report any suspicious objects or activity
“If you do see something that is out of place or arouses your suspicions, do not touch it,” he added.
