Golf News:
Seamus Given (15) played great golf on Saturday in City of Derry’s weekly stableford to record first place having survived a three way tie break on 35 points. 
Two birdies over the fifteen holes were vital in his winning performance and relegated newcomer Stephen McCaul (10) into second place.
Stephen will be very pleased with his placing, his first prize since joining the club a short while ago. Brendan Duffy (10) had already scored his 36 points before playing the last hole but an unfortunate double bogey 6 cost him dearly and he had to settle for third place.
Next Saturday’s competition will be teams of four with the best two scores counting at each hole.
