THE heartbroken family of Lisa Orsi say they will make a decision tomorrow on turning off her life support and bringing their ‘baby’ home to Derry.
The 22-year-old has been in hospital since collapsing after a freak incident in Indonesia on Friday.
In a message posted to MLA Pat Ramsey this evening, Lisa’s mum Sharon said: “It would be good for us for the repatriation of Lisa when needs be. Our families have been told of the position.
“So maybe you could let the beautiful and caring people of our city we say thank you and we will be home soon with our baby.
“Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers overnight for a most difficult and distressing time.”
Earlier Sharon wrote: “Lisa has a few more tests tomorrow morning by our request, then will have to decide when we turn Lisa support off .
“Then we will bring our baby home. The time line is not clear.
“Some of our Singapore family met us at the hospital and we have decided to let them say goodbye to their sister. We feel we owe them that much, God bless you all and thanks for your support and kind and loving words.”
