POLICE in Derry continue to crack down hard on drug dealers peddling their illegal wares.
Tonight, city centre police conducted a house search in the Waterside area as part of the Operation Torso fight against drugs across the North.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “A quantity of drugs, paraphernalia and cash was seized resulting in one male being arrested on suspicion of possession and supply of drugs.
“Day in and day out we see this stuff ruining lives.
“We all have a role to play in getting drugs off our streets whether it is with prevention, treatment, prosecution, rehabilitation, education or deterrence.
“If you have information of drug dealing in your area please contact Police or if you wish to remain anonymous ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
