The damaged shop front in Rosskeen Park after it was rammed by stolen car
POLICE are investigating after a ram raid incident in the early hours of this morning.
A car was driven into the front of the shop during the daring heist.
A spokesperson said two men got out of the car and went into the wrecked shop at Rosskeen Park around 4 am this morning.
The thieves snatched a sum of money before making off in the stolen car.
The spokesperson added that the black Citroen C1 was stolen from the Shearwater area of the Waterside.
Anyone with information about the ram raid is asked to contact police in the city on the 101 number immediately.
