FORMER Derry City boss Stephen Kenny was the smiling manager after his champions Dundalk left Brandywell tonight with all the points after a 1-0 win.
Dundalk dominated the first 45 minutes and were unlucky not to be ahead at the break.
City keeper Gerard Doherty pulled off two great saves to deny David McMillan an opening.
But just like their first game away to Galway last week, City were a different side in the second half and matched the champions.
But it was the visitors who struck to break the deadlock, Dane Massey firing home a wonder goal in the 65th minute.
Philip Lowry and Ryan Curran both went close for City before Lowry again – with a header – put his effort wide when he should have hit the target.
Peter Hutton will be disappointed with the result but he can take heart from a battling second half performance.
RESULTS: Bohemians 2 Galway 0; Cork City 5 Limerick 0; Derry 0 Dundalk 1; Drogheda 3 Sligo Rovers 2; St Pat’s 3 Bray 0
