TWO are due in court later today charged with false imprisonment following an incident in Co Derry.
Police say A 21-year-old man was held against his will for a number of hours at a property in the Coleraine Road area of Portstewart in the early hours of Thursday, during which he was assaulted.
He sustained a number of injuries including burn marks to his body.
Two men, aged 23 and 25, have been charged with a number of offences in connection with the incident, including false imprisonment, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and theft.
They are due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court for a first remand hearing.
