PROBE LAUNCHED OVER ARSON ATTACK ON CAR TRANSPORTER

DETECTIVES are appealing for information following an arson attack.

It happened in the Knockroe Road area of Strabane last night, Sunday, March 15.

Detective Inspector David McQuaid said: “At about 8.40pm, it was reported that a car transporter, with a number of cars on it, was set on fire while it was parked in business premises in the area.

“I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact CID at Strabane Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
