THE search for a missing Derry man has been stepped up since he disappeared at the weekend.
Searches have been carried out on both land and river for Gary Campbell.
The 31-year-old Creggan man has been missing since the early hours of Saturday morning.
He was last seen on the Creggan Road around 3 am and was wearing a yellow and white checked shirt, black jacket and jeans.
A Foyle Search and Rescue spokesperson said they are also carrying out searches along with the PSNI.
The PSNI and coastguard helicopters have been used during the searches over the past three days.
Brother Gavin Campbell has urged Gary to come home as he was missed by his mother and family.
“He’s a great brother and we go on well together. He’s very kind and considerate,” said Gavin Campbell.
“The last couple of days have been devastating. My mother said she hopes he comes through the door.
“If he’s out there, please come home.”
Police at Strand Road have appealed for anyone with information about Gary’s whereabouts to contact them on the 101 non-emergency number.
