POLICE say a security alert in Co Derry is now over after the discovery of an unexploded grenade.
Army Technical Officers were tasked to the scene at James Street, Coleraine, following a report of a suspicious object at a house.
James Street was closed to traffic and a number of residents were evacuated.
Following an examination, the ATO said the object was an unexploded grenade which has now been made safe.
James Street has now re-opened to traffic and residents have been allowed to return to their homes.
