THE body of an elderly man has been pulled from a river in Strabane.
Flood response teams from Derry recovered the body around teatime on Tuesday.
It was found in the Mourne River near Strabane golf club.
However, foul play is not suspected and the death of the man, who was in his 60s, does not appear to have been accidental.
A total of seven units from the Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene during the recovery operation.
The PSNI along with a number of paramedic teams were also drafted into the rescue operation.
