Bottles of Coors Light and a bottle of Captain Morgan’s rum drink seized by Derry police from underage drinkers
POLICE have put on display alcohol seized during a crackdown on underage drinkers.
In a stateement, the PSNI in Derry said: “City Centre Police spent the weekend in St Columb’s Park along with Derry City and Strabane District Staff.
“This has led to alcohol and drugs seized from youths and two taken home and reported to the Youth Diversion Officer.
“As the weather improves (hotter than Spain according to the news) we expect the park to get busier.
“However, we won’t stand for anti-social behaviour or underage drinking.”
