A MAN is being quizzed by detectives after a teenager was beaten about the head with a hammer.
The 19-year-old victim was attacked around 2am at a house in Ard Grange.
He was rushed to Altnagelvin Hospital where he is being treated for serious head injuries.
The PSNI says a 28-year-old was arrested at the scene.
