A third man has been arrested in connection with alleged death threats to former derry City player and current Oldham Athletic manager Darren Kelly.
It follows the previous arrest and subsequent release of two other men, aged 27 and 42, on suspicion of making threats to kill Kelly.
The arrests stem form an incident in which a letter was sent to the club threatening to kill Kelly, 35.
That followed a tweet by Kelly reacting to a picture of his mother being pictured with Sinn Fein’s Martin McGuinness marking the 43rd anniversary of Bloody Sunday.
