POLICE at Strand Road in Derry are keen to talk to a have a go hero who witnessed an assault in the city centre.
Constable Forbes, the investigating officer, said that in the early hours of Saturday last, two teenage girls were assaulted by an older man and woman while waiting for a taxi close to a hotel at Harbour Square.
An unknown man intervened and pushed the assailants away.
A 30-year-old woman and a man aged 32 were arrested and later bailed pending further enquiries.
