DEATH OF MAN FOUND IN THE STREET ‘NOT SUSPICIOUS’, SAY PSNI

THE death of a man found dead on a street in Co Derry at the weekend is not being treated as suspicious.

Officers on patrol in Limavady on Sunday were alerted around 10 pm that a man was lying on Connell Street in the town near commercial premises.

The 69-year-old, who is originally from Derry, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police do not believe there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death following the results of a post-mortem examination.
