POLICE in Derry are investigating a serious assault.
It happened at a flat in the city in the early hours of this morning, Monday, July 6.
The victim was assaulted at around 4.10am at a flat in the Clooney Terrace area of the Waterside.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at that time and who saw a dark-coloured car with a number of males on board driving either towards or away from the area.
Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact detetectives in Reactive and Organised Crime branch at PSNI Strand Road via the 101 non-emergency number.
