A SENIOR police officer has warned the public to on their guard if they receive letters like this.
Assistant Chief Constable Stephen Martin, who commanded the PSNI in Derry until last year, took to Twitter this evening to issue the warning.#
The claims that a parcel is waiting for the recipient and all they need to do is ring the number and pay a delivery fee of £10.
“Look out for letters such as this one reported to today,” tweeted ACC Martin.
“It’s a scam. Don’t be fooled! Please RT.”
