IT could be make or break night for Candystripes boss Peter Hutton.
The Derry City manager Peter Hutton knows night’s game against bottom-placed Limerick is important both his future and the club’s fortunes in the league.
The Brandywell side are just two places above Limerick in the league in this relegation battle game.
Limerick are rooted to the bottom with just five points from all their league games this season.
And Hutton also wants his players to remain focused on the job at hand.
“I understand the pressure that surrounds the game, yes it is a huge game, given the position where we are in the table and where they, but we can’t get caught up in that,” he told the club’s website.
“We have to remain focused and play the game and not worry about what is going on all around it.
“It’s a game that we certainly need to get something from.
“We are also at home and we have to take the positives from last week’s first half display at Bray Wanderers and try to transfer that into 90 minutes against Limerick.”
The Candystripes are expected to have new signings Mark Quigley and Rob Cornwall in their squad, while Aaron Barry also returns from suspension.
