THE Fire and Ambulance Services are investigating reports of a gas leak in Derry
Police said Spencer Road has been closed on Monday afternoon while fire service personnel carry out tests in the area.
The Ambulance Service was tasked to the scene after a number of people were “experiencing headaches”.
Several business premises including a dental surgery and the Sandwich Company cafe were evacuated.
Diversions have been put in place and there are no further details at the minute.
