HIS voice will resonate once again across the airwaves one year after he sadly died following a battle with cancer, leaving a huge void among family, friends and his legion of fans.
Tonight on BBC1 at 9 pm, a programme entitled ‘A City Dreaming’ will be aired which was written and narrated by the late great Gerry Anderson.
It is described as his personal recollection of “Stroke City” and its people, a city and its people he loved.
Gerry, who was described as a “legend of the airwaves”, died in August last year aged 69.
He had been off the air for well over a year as his body battled against the ravages of cancer.
His death brought to a sad end his radio show and the relationship he forged with Radio Foyle’s Sean Coyle, both on and off the air.
