MAN BROUGHT TO SAFETY ON FOYLE

A MAN has been taken to safety after a search and rescue operation on the River Foyle.

Foyle Search and Rescue and the PSNI were involved in the search.

The charity said: “The PSNI were informed of a missing male who may be near the river’s edge.

“One boat as well as a land team searched the area and were later stood down after the male was located and taken to safety.”
