POLICE APPEAL AFTER CAR STOLEN IN GALLIAGH LATER FOUND BURNED OUT

POLICE in Derry are appealing for information after a car that was stolen in the Galliagh area and later found gutted in the Ballymagroarty district.

The PSNI say the purple Citroen was taken from Moss Park shortly after 3.00 pm yesterday afternoon, Monday, August 24.

Half an hour later it was found burned out at Merriman Court.

PSNI Inspector Sam Shearer said information about those responsible could be given on the 101 non-emergency number.
