POLICE say nothing untoward has been found after claims an explosive device was thrown at patrol in Derry.
A caller claimed the device missed the passing police vehicle in the Leafair Park area of Galliagh on Friday night.
Tactical Support Group officers carried out searches in Leafair Park and the Racecourse Road area yesterday.
More searches were carried out in the same areas today but still nothing has been located.
However, police have warned the public that if they spot any suspicious objects not to touch it.
Instead, ring 999 and alert the police.
