DERRY City have helped an injured Cork fan make it home safely back to the Rebel County.
Cork City FC fan Mary O’Regan, who travelled to the game in the Brandywell last Friday night has finally been released from Altnagalvin Hospital after a fall on Friday night led to serious injury.
Derry City said: “Mary was not left alone and had plenty of visits from Derry City fans over the weekend.
“Derry City FC as a club have covered Mary’s travel costs to get her safely back home to Cork.
“We would like to wish Mary a speedy recovery and hope to see her back at the Brandywell again next time!”
