THE PSNI in Foyle say that the technical fault with its telephone lines has now been fixed.
The glitch prevented the police in Derry receiving calls on the 101 non-emergency number.
The old non-emergency number – 90 650222 – was also not working during the fault.
PSNI Foyle say: “The technical fault with the non emergency numbers 101 and 9065 0222 has now been fixed.
“Apologies for any inconvenience to anyone affected while the fault was ongoing.”
