The sudden passing of Ryan Snodgrass has stunned local athletics
THE local sport of athletics is in a state of shock this evening following the sudden death of popular Derry runner Ryan Snodgrass.
He recently took part in the Walled City Marathon and was a respected member of Foyle Valley Athletics Club.
It is not yet known how he died.
The club released a statement this evening on its Facebook page about his sudden and tragic death.
The statement said: “It is with our deepest sadness we regret to inform you all of the passing of Ryan Snodgrass.
“Ryan has been a long standing member of Foyle Valley AC and will be badly missed by all.
“RIP Ryan.
“V.T.I.D”
