POLICE are investigating an arson attack in Derry last night.
The Fire and Rescue Service said it dispatached two appliances from Crescent Link fire station to attend a blaze involving a garage at Clonmeen Drive in the Strathfoyle area of the city.
A NIFRS spokesman said: “The detached building was well alight and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
“The cause of the fire appeared to be deliberate.”
Anyone with information about the blaze is asked to contact police on the 101 non-emergency number.
