POLICE are contining a crackdown on dealers peddling drugs across Derry.
Two men are in custody after they were arrested on Monday afternoon.
They are were at detained at Strand Road on suspicion of committing a number of drug offences.
The same day in a separate operation, officers seized a machete and a baseball bat during the search of a house at Caw Park under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
During the search no drugs were found.
Also on Monday, police searched a house in Ard Grang1e but again nodrugs were found.
It is understood a number of other items were taken away for further examination.
Meanwhile, a small amount of drugs were found when police stopped a car at Malvern Terrace on Monday.
The passenger received a caution following direction from the Public Prosecution Service.
The caution will stay on the suspect’s criminal record for a year.
