WORKING smoke alarms alerted neighbours to a fire in a detached house in Chapel View, Bellaghy, Co Derry yesterday.
The Fire Service say an unattended saucepan had overheated and caused the house to fill with smoke.
Appliances from Maghera and Magherafelt were mobilised to the incident.
There are no reports of any injuries
