DETECTIVES are investigating a suspicious fire in Co Derry on Friday night.
The fire was reported to police at around 9.45 pm at building on Hogg’s Quarry on Tobermore Street.
The blaze caused extensive damage to the building and completely destroyed plant machinery running to tens of thousands of pounds inside.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who travelled along the Tobermore Road between 7pm and 9.45pm on Friday night, and contact them on the 101 non-emergency number.
