DERRY MOTORIST WAS THREE TIMES DRINK DRIVE LIMIT, SAY POLICE

A DERRY motorist is facing at least a year’s ban from the roads after he was caught drink driving at the weekend.

The PSNI say: “Tactical Support Group (TSG) officers stopped a driver last night, Sunday, October 11, in The Meadows area.

“He was subsequently arrested for driving whilst unfit, failing to stop and failing to report a road traffic collision.

“When tested the driver was approximately three times over the legal limit.

“Our message is simple: Never Ever Drink and Drive.”
