POLICE are on the trail of a man over four linked burglaries in the Carnhill and Slievemore Park areas of Derry.
The burglaries were carried out between Sunday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 14.
Detectives are currently trying to identify a man in his 40-50s who was seen by residents at two of the houses that were raided.
The man is described as having a Southern accent and having a stocky build with closely shaved hair.
A mobile phone was stolen from one house while a tablet was stolen from a second home.
The thief gained access to both properties through unlocked doors.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on the non-emergency number of 101.
