DETECTIVES are investigating a spate of thefts carried out last week on homes in Derry.
Police say the heartless thieves struck between Thursday and Friday on resident properties, mostly occupied by elderly people.
There were three incidents at Iona Court, one burglary at Lackey Road and a further break in at Hamilton Court.
Most of the thefts featured the same stolen items, a small strip of lead from the rear of each property.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on the 101 non-emergency number.
