DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch have seized drugs with a potential street value of between £50,000-£75,000.
It follows the search of a property in Draperstown yesterday.
A police spokesman said: “Cannabis plants and herbal cannabis were uncovered during a search in the High Street area of the town yesterday.
“A 35 year old man has been charged with possession and cultivation of class B drugs with intent to supply.”
He was due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Wright said police were committed to removing illegal drugs from communities.
