POLICE are investigating after a young was mugged at knifepoint in Derry.
The 20-year-old was walking along Collon Lane in the Racecourse Road area of the city on Thursday night when he was approached by two men.
He was held up at knifepoint and the pair rifled through his pockets and made off with a wallet, a mobile phone, keys and cigarettes.
Police said the man was unhurt.
The PSNI issued a description of the attacks.
The investigating officer said: “One of the men is described as being about 18 or 19 years old, about 5’10” tall, of slim build and was wearing a black duffel jacket with a furry hood.
“The other man is thought to be in his late teens, about 6’1″ tall, of medium build and was wearing a grey hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.”
