A new coffee shop has been opened at Derry’s flagship new leisure facility, the Foyle Arena, in St Columb’s Park.
The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Cllr Elisha McCallion was one of the first customers to call into the new coffee shop and cafe, called “Hi” when it opened a few weeks ago.
Welcoming the latest addition to the Foyle Arena offering, the Mayor extended her best wishes to the owners and staff on their latest business venture.
“This is a fantastic facility and a great addition to the Foyle Arena, offering a welcoming and colourful space for meeting friends and family before or after using the Foyle Arena’s state of the art facilities,” she said.
Owned by Claire McGowan, who also runs the Guild Cafe in the Guildhall, “Hi” serves gourmet coffee, tasty homemade cakes, a selection of delicious sandwiches, cold drinks and tasty treats for the kids.
It also caters for kids parties held within the Foyle Arena.
Claire says she is looking forward to bringing her vision of a ‘high quality’ & ‘fun cafe experience’ to life at Hi. For further details you can email [email protected] or check out www.facebook.com/cafehi.
