DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit probing the planting of a device at Derry’s Waterfoot Hotel last month have returned to the scene.
The deadly dissident republican bomb was found in the grounds of the hotel on October 9 ahead of a planned PSNI recruitment event.
Detectives were in the area last night and spoke to passing motorists and pedestrians to gather further information.
Police continue to appeal to anyone with information about the device.
They want to hear from any who noticed suspicious activity in the area in the days leading up to its discovery to contact detectives at Mahon Road on the non-emergency number 101 – extension 37423 – or call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
