DERRY City have announced Diamond Corrugated as their main sponsor for the 2016 campaign.
Based in Pennyburn Industrial Estate, Diamond Corrugated’s association with the Candy Stripes stretches back to the club’s return to senior football in 1985.
They will be the club’s main sponsor for the sixth consecutive year.
“The positive news follows the announcement that skipper Ryan McBride and Aaron Barry have also signed up for next season,” said the club in a statement.
The club also welcomed the decision by the Derry & Strabane Council Committee to push ahead with the Brandywell project.
Derry & Strabane Council Committee choose from one of seven options for the redevelopment of the Brandywell Stadium on Thursday night.
The Council’s Health and Community Committee were presented with the list of options at their monthly meeting in the Guildhall and the choosing of option three involves proceeding to tender for the entire Brandywell scheme.
