COFFEE chain Ground Espresso has opened a new bar in Co Derry and created over a dozen jobs.

Around £250,000 has been invested in between the new store in Magherafelft and one in Co Fermanagh.

Two other stores are due to open in Co Down soon, creating a total of 60 new jobs across the North of Ireland.

 

These units will create another 30 new jobs bringing the work force at ground to over 200.

The Magherafelt stand-alone store opened on Friday to reveal a new state-of-the-art premises to hundreds of customers.

Co-Founder Darren Gardiner added: “We’ve blended Ground’s quintessential welcoming atmosphere with an innovative design specification and created a cool new space for our customers to relax, socialise, and enjoy our bespoke coffee range.”
