A post-mortem is due to take place later today on a man’s body which was found at the side of a road yesterday.
Police said the discovery was made by a member of the public on Dunluce Road in Portrush around 9 am on Sunday morning.
Chief Inspector Mark McClarence said: “Enquiries are under way to establish how this man died and we are following a definite line of enquiry in terms of establishing his identity.”
He said the road would be closed until the post-mortem had been carried out.
It is sealed off between Skerries caravan park and Ballybogey Road.
