ALL roads lead to Derry this weekend for the ‘Sippy of Culture Craft Beer Festival’.
Tipplers will be able to sample some of the finest drinks from 20 brewers, distillers and cider maker from the burgeoning industry showcase their wares in the city.
On show for a sample is the first whiskey produced in Derry in more than a century.
As well as the chance to sample beers and spirits at the Guildhall this Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28, there will be a full programme of entertainment and foods.
The festival of craft beers is the brainchild of pals Brian Rainey and Connor Doherty.
“‘Sipply of Culture’ started off as a gathering of amongst friends two years ago across a kitchen table,” says Brian.
“And curiostiy led them to seek out the best in the North’s growing craft drinks scene.
“We’re still sticking to the same core principles – the ability to come together to have great conversations while discovering great drinks,” he added.
Tickets are now on sale from www.sipplyfest.co.uk and at selected outlets priced £8 for a two day pass and £6 for a day pass.
