POLICE in Derry say they were pleased to support and contribute to a DVD made by young people that outlines the dangers of so-called legal highs.
The DVD got its first viewing recently by young students from schools across the city.
The project was organised by Cathedral Youth Club.
As they explain: “Cathedral Youth Club decided to raise awareness on these crucial issues by making a DVD on legal highs (Psychoactive substance).
“The idea was developed by their youth worker when supporting the ever rising numbers of local young people who were/ are addicted to the substance.
“It was realised that a DVD would be a great learning tool when educating and supporting the young people and their families on this critical issue.”
