SINN Féin Councillor Sandra Duffy has condemned vandals who set fire to a portable toilet unit.
It was being used by workers installing new windows at homes in the Fergleen Park area of Derry.
Councillor Duffy said: “It ridiculous that anyone would target a facility being used by workers carrying out a home improvement scheme in Ferglen Park.
“Residents have waited a very long time for this work to take place.
“The last thing they want to see is that work being held up with vandalism attacks on buildings or machinery.”
