FIRE crews from Crescent Link and Northland stations responded to a report of a fire at a terraced house at Emerson Street in the Clooney area of Derry.
The Fire Service say the small fire was out on arrival of crews at the property around 2.10 am on Tuesday morning.
“Firefighters ventilated the smoke from the property. Sounding smoke alarms alerted neighbours,” said a spokesperson.
“The cause of the fire appeared accidental.”
