TWO men were arrested over what police have described as a “fight” in Derry city centre.
The incident, which took place in Society Street, off Bishop Street, shortly before 11.00pm, on Saturday nigth involved a number of men.
A police spokesperson said two men, aged 35 and 47, were arrested at the scene and taken to Strand Road police station for questioning under the Offences Against Persons Act 1861.
They have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
