MARTINA Anderson MEP answered a social media appeal from kinship care regarding the three young sisters from Donegal who’s mum recently died.
The appeal is called ‘our Sharon’s girls’.
They are being cared for by relatives after the death of their mother while one sister who has Down Syndrome is waiting on an operation.
They had a target of £1000 but ended up raising much more. The appeal is now closed
Martina Anderson said: “Kinship care does brilliant work year round and this year supplied Christmas gifts for 175 children.
“I strongly urge anyone who is capable to support the incredible work being carried out by kinship care”
