POLICE in Derry are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted while out walking along the Skeoge Road at the weekend.
The attack happened around 10 pm on Sunday, January 3.
Inspector Gregory Smyth said: “This lady was attacked close to the entrance to Glenabbey by two males.
“One of the males demanded her phone and as she handed it over they attacked her leaving her with cuts and bruises to her body.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the assault or could provide any further information that will help us identify the culprits.”
