DETECTIVES have arrested two people in Co Derry after police found items used to manufacture cocaine.
Officers searched four properties in Coleraine on Wednesday as part of an operation against what they believe is a “gang involved in the production and supply” of the class A drug.
A cocaine press, a bulking agent and other drugs paraphernalia were discovered at one of the addresses.
A 30-year-old woman and a man, 34, were arrested on a number of drugs offences under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
They are being held at Coleraine PSNI station.
They are being questioned by police on suspicion of possession of and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
The pair are also being quizzed about conspiracy to supply and being concerned in the production of cocaine.
