POLICE in Co Derry are investigating a report of an assault inside a public bar in Maghera last weekend.
Inspector Andrew Archibald said: “We are appealing for information following a report of an assault which took place at licensed premises in Maghera sometime between 12.15 am and 1.00 am on Monday, January 18.
“We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time that and may have witnessed the assault inside the premises.

“Information about crime can be also be passed via Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
